With a clear focus on easier access to planning content and a stronger connection between the various pCon applications, this release offers a variety of important improvements for all users. Catalogs: Enhanced approach to access pCon.catalog
pCon.planner 8.10 now features a fresh new icon for the pCon.catalog portal. Access a variety of brand catalogs in a new design that makes it easy to browse through the catalogs and integrate the selected models into your planning process.
But that’s not all: The lightweight catalog windows are now individually dockable, making it much more convenient to search and find the right models. With just one click, the model is loaded and ready to be placed in the planning. These innovations promise you a working environment that is not only more efficient, but also offers you more freedom and precision in the implementation of your interior design projects.
Collaboration: Optimizing compatibility between pCon applications
With this release, you now have the possibility to load and import projects from pCon.box and pCon.roomplanner in PBOX format. The article geometries are transferred directly without having to install the data in pCon.planner first. Furthermore, the export of PEC files has been improved to facilitate the exchange with pCon.box. This also extends to 2D content.
In the PRO version of pCon.planner, it is now possible to transfer the project directly to pCon.basket PRO when exporting the article list. This makes the planning and quotation process more seamless. A revision of the Excel export and the introduction of a new CSV export complement these functions. In summary, this release enables retailers to start directly with sales processes, offers seamless collaboration between pCon applications without loss of information and strengthens the process relevance of the various pCon applications
Articles: Improved Data Processing and New Article Explorer (PRO)
In the PRO version of pCon.planner, article processing has been further improved to ensure consistent and efficient handling of manufacturers’ product data. Thanks to Unicode support, all pCon applications can now process product data in the same way, resulting in more consistent and reliable usage.
The redesigned Article Explorer, formerly known as “Folder Manager”, now offers improved functions for identifying inconsistent articles. By displaying tooltips, inconsistencies are clearly highlighted, making them easier to locate and resolve. In addition, a new optional price date column has been added to clarify price differences between the article price date and the project price date. These improvements help to provide a better overview of the status and allow for more efficient updating of the drawing.
